Microbicides Media & Communications Initiative (MMCI)

The Microbicides Media & Communications Initiative (MMCI) was developed to address the need for a coordinated, field-wide strategy for the provision of accurate and comprehensive information to media representatives, national governments, advocacy groups, community members, and the general public. Managed by the Global Campaign for Microbicides, this group works to develop a strategy for disseminating information to various stakeholders and to identify existing and potential shared resources that might aid in its implementation.
